When I was just a teenager I used to do a lot of sewing for myself. One of the things that I did quite a few of was shoulder bags. When my friends asked me to make bags for them I started doing that too, and eventually I even made a few to sell. And that was where it all stopped.
This Christmas, I revisited that little hobby and just about everyone got handmade bags for Christmas!
I did seven blue ones for the ladies in the family. This fabric is a dark blue corduroy with a swirly burnout texture.
All of these bags have the same lining too, which is a light silvery blue satin.
All the bags also have the same button fastening. The button is a leftover from making the pirate fairy dress (read about that here). The button is red with gold glitter, and a little hard to get a good photo of.
All the bags to have different embellishments, I had a lot of fun choosing them.
Thanks for looking.
