Hello everyone, I’m doing a little catch-up on a couple of things that I have made for Christmas, but haven’t blogged about yet. This bundle was for my oldest daughter and some of her friends. They all, independently, discovered a love for ponies during last year. So for Christmas I made them all pony dresses for Christmas.
They also got a little pony each to match their dress.
I used the same pattern for all of them, Ottobre 1/2014-25. I used mainly fabric from my stash, that I had been hoarding, I only purpose bought the purple for this one.
I tried to match the colours of the fabric, and the embroidered pony to each of the little ponies that I had purchased.
And this is the one I did for Mathilda:
The appliqué looks all scrunchy in that picutre, but I assure it isn’t, here is a picture of her wearing it.
And from the back:
She really loves it and wears it quite often.
Here is one of the other dresses in full:
And this one, which is for a younger girl and doesn’t fit on my mannequin:
I loved this pattern, these dresses were so easy to make, I could quite happily sit all day sewing them up.
Thanks for reading.
